How the warehousing and logistics industry is performing.
In the 2021-2022 period, Australia’s transport, warehousing and logistics industry grew by a very healthy 14.4%, equivalent to $4.7b, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ latest Australian Industry release.
With this growth in economic activity, wages and salaries improved by 5.6% ($3.4b), while new jobs were created for 18,000 people (an additional 2.8% to the over 700,000 people already working in the industry).
This release is extremely positive news for existing and new employers and job seekers in transport, warehousing and logistics.
