 Exciting Opportunities for Trailer Mechanics - Western Suburbs: TRS Resourcing has been tasked with sourcing and screening eligible candidates for our client, who is seeking two trade-qualified Trailer Mechanics to join their team at their workshop in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for rebuilding Suspension, Brake Components, and Trailer Axles. Additionally, you will perform general truck trailer maintenance and inspect the truck trailer frame. If you are eager to take on these responsibilities, this could be your new job!

Pay and Benefits: As part of this role, you will receive a casual/labour hire rate of $55.00 per hour PAYG normal time, superannuation, overtime, and a $27 per day travel allowance.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience in servicing and repairing trailer equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing faults and conducting component rebuilding.
  • Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills for job update entry.
In addition to the requirements mentioned above, you must also provide:
  • Reference contact details of two past employers.
  • Residency / based in Melbourne, Victoria.
  • Hold the correct Legal right to work in Australia.
  • Mechanic trade qualification.
  • Forklift license (preferred but not necessary).
  • Own tools.
