Service Supervisor/ Workshop Manager

This workshop based in Altona is looking for a full-time supervisor who will be trained as a workshop manager. The company is an industry leader in manufacturing special plant, equipment and accessories in the Chemical, Cable, Mining and Steel manufacturing industries.

They currently need a Supervisor employed on a Full-Time Basis for their service team. They have a very healthy new and repeat business pipeline, hence increasing their workforce to meet their client’s requirements. The salary will be based on your experience plus other benefits. We require a candidate that can supervise a diverse range of trade professionals.

You must be able to operate CNC Machines, lathes, and milling machines to close tolerance, as this is a high-end machining workshop. 

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
  • Can prioritise work tasks
  • Determines work requirements and allocates duties daily
  • Maintain control sheets for each project
  • Provide your workforce with feedback at pre-start and toolbox meetings
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude
