Social Media Strategist

 The Client

 Our client is a multi-generational family-owned insurance brokerage business. They have built up an impressive Australian broad client base, using their core values of excellent customer service, trust, and integrity to build this firm into a large independent insurance brokerage. They want to build on their in-house social media team and have committed to a sizable budget to make this happen.

The Job

 We are looking for an experienced Social Media Strategist to focus on the long term strategic vision of our clients' social media platforms. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Social Media strategy to increase the online presence and brand awareness. You will be working closely with the Managing Director, who already is well known across the industry & Senior Management team.

The Candidate

It is essential the successful candidate holds four years of experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar position and be prepared to have a Federal Police Clearance / full background check done (at TRS Resourcing cost)

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator, able to create high-value video content & digital content 
  • Manage the online community of Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn & Instagram
Ideally, we would like to speak to Social Media Managers who have previous experience within the Financial Services/Insurance Industry. However full training in the insurance industry will be provided to the successful candidate.

To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:
  • Reference contact details of two past employers
  • Based already in Perth, Western Australia
  • Have the correct right to work in Australia
