Service Supervisor
Commercial Fuel Transport & Storage Sector

Our client has restructured their workforce, and this is a newly created service team position. Their workshop is in Melbourne's South Western Suburbs; they are an industry leader in the commercial fuel pumping and tanker trailer maintenance & repair equipment sector across the East Coast of Australia. 

They currently need a Supervisor employed on a Full-Time Basis for their service team. They have a very healthy pipeline of new and repeat business, hence increasing their workforce to meet their client’s requirements.

We require a candidate that can supervise a diverse range of welding trade professionals and truck trailer mechanics. It would be highly beneficial if the candidate had a truck fleet/equipment service background.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
  • Can prioritise work tasks
  • Determines work requirements and allocates duties daily
  • Maintain control sheets for each project
  • Report workshop progress to Senior Manager via a weekly meeting
  • Provide your workforce with feedback at pre-start and toolbox meetings
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude
