Robot Welder - Afternoon / Evening Shift
4x4 Vehicle Accessories

The workshop is in the Croydon area and is a leading Australian Manufacturer 4x4 Vehicle Accessories.

The requirement is for several experienced Robot Welders for afternoon/evening shift that can carry out a wide range of duties, including operation of using Robot Welding, manual Mig Welding and Pre Assembly of mainly Bull Bars.

Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, the successful operators will work within different areas across the workshop floor, including Bullbars, Roof Racks and Tow Bar and skid plate protection production.

Duties of these positions will include:
  • The use of hand and power tools
  • Robot Welder Operation
  • Basis Mig Welding
It is beneficial that the successful candidate has the following.
  • Relevant experience with the steel fabrication sector
  • Hold an understanding of basic welding and manufacturing processes.
  • Ideally have a basic understanding of automotive electrical systems.
  • Have the ability to learn our clients' correct procedures & processes
  • Good working knowledge of OS&H
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude.

Given the nature of this position, at this stage, we can only review candidates that hold suitable experience with the steel fabrication and or Industrial Equipment sectors. 

However, full training will be provided for this position.
