Project Engineer/Manager

TRS Resourcing has been asked to source a passionate and experienced Project Engineer/Manager for our client in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. The company is well established in Australia's biogas and landfill gas handling environment, and there are excellent opportunities for renewable gas.

The project Engineer we are looking for will assist with the engineering design from sales to technical sign-off for various projects. You will be working closely with the Design Engineer and Sales Staff to develop technical solutions for their customers. We are also looking for someone with relevant industry experience, knowledge of design and engineering software and that has good interpersonal skills.
   
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Development of safe designs to comply with relevant industry and WHS standards and meet deadlines required for Project Execution​
  • Preparing and delivery of project documentation 
  • Maintain dates Scheduled and Actual Delivery Dates for Engineering-related project steps, including drawings development, Bill of material, embedded generation application and quality assurance.
  • Mentor developing engineers in best practice design processes, relevant industry standards
  • Meeting deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and either have or be working towards Chartership with Engineers Australia (or equivalent in other countries)​
