Paint Prepper

TRS Resourcing has been asked to source and screen for a Paint Prepper to assist our client with the preparation of their products, canopies and bullbars. Previous experience working in an industrial setting would be advantageous.

Our client's warehouse is located in the Prestons area and is a leading Australian Manufacturer of 4x4 Vehicle Equipment.

We require candidates who can demonstrate the following skillset:
  • Quality check for any manufacturing defects
  • Removing weld splatter
  • For bars - Check the weld tag part number against the work order part number
  • Sanding fabricated parts/canopy shell with an orbital sander
  • Rub down fabricated parts/canopy shell with abrasives such as sandpaper or scotchbrite
  • Booth housekeeping
To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:
  • Reference contact details of two past employers
  • Based already in Sydney, NSW
  • Have the correct right to work in Australia

Given the nature of this position, at this stage, we can only review candidates who hold a suitable LF Licence and Forklift experience; however, we will provide the required basic training.
