 TRS Resourcing has been asked to source and screen two suitable trade qualified Mechanical Fitters who can help with new build construction/repair of Truck Fuel Tankers, Stainless Steel Tank Trailer Equipment.

Paying $45 Per Hour NT Labour Hire + Super, OT & $27 Per Day Travel

Based in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs, our client is an industry leader in the truck tanker trailer construction/maintenance & repair sector across Australia.  With a very healthy pipeline of new and repeat business, they now need to increase their workforce. With requirements of at least two new Mechanical Fitters after six months/26 weeks, TRS Resourcing candidates could be potentially shortlisted for a full-time position with our client.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Running pneumatic airlines and mounting componentry
  • Fault finding electrical issues
  • Running electrical looms and terminating wiring
  • Service, repair, and maintain the equipment requirements for Fuel Tanker Fleet and associated Equipment compliance with all relevant standards and road transport guidelines
  • Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
  • Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude.

  • Reference contact details of two past employers
  • Based already in Melbourne, Victoria
  • Have the right to work in Australia
  • Trade qualification
  • Own Tools (Specialist tools supplied)
