Bunded Fuel Tanks & Fuel Pumps

 Our client is an industry leader in commercial fuel pumping, bunded fuel tanks and tanker trailer maintenance. They are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to increase their workforce by servicing/rebuilding Industrial Fuel Pumps and commissioning new Tanker Fuel Systems. This position is being offered on a Contract Hourly Rate with the view of going Full Time after a 26 Week Placement.

Pay: $55.00 Per Hour Labour Hire NT + Super, OT & $27 Per Day Travel

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Running pneumatic airlines and mounting of componentry
  • Fault finding (Electrical Control Systems, PLC's and Solenoids)
  • Running electrical looms and terminating wiring
  • Service, repair, and maintain the equipment requirements for fuel tanker fleet and associated equipment to comply with all relevant standards and road transport guidelines
  • Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
  • Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude
