Maintenance Fitter / Welder

TRS Resourcing has been asked to source and screen a suitable trade qualified Maintenance Fitter / Welder for workshop based maintenance works.

This position is located at our client's facade panel manufacturing plant in the South Eastern area of Melbourne, working the day shift.
     
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Able to setout daily maintenance duties
  • Service, repair and change out bearings
  • Replace the main driveshafts
  • Welding
  • Repair build new jigs and fixtures when required
  • Interpret shop drawings/engineering drawings
  • Hold the ability to prioritise work tasks
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude
To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:
  • Reference contact details of two past employers
  • Based already in Melbourne Victoria
  • Have the right to work in Australia
  • Trade qualifications
Given the nature of this position, at this stage, we can only review candidates who hold relevant experience with Industrial Equipment.
