Mechanical Fitter
Onsite Based

Our client is located in Thomastown; however, they are looking for a mechanical fitter based onsite in Reservoir. They are an industry leader in electrical, automation and mechanical services. They seek a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a forklift license to increase their workforce. 

This position is offered at a Contract Hourly Rate of $50.00 Per Hour + $27 Per Day Travel Allowance. This role is six months temp to perm, with the view of long-term employment. Immediate start is available! Due to the nature of this role, you may be asked to work afternoon or night shifts in the future or work at other locations. 

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Service, repair, and maintain various equipment, including but not limited to automated machinery, conveyors and more. 
  • Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
  • Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Able to drive a basic forklift 
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude
