TRS Resourcing is currently recruiting Diesel Mechanics for field service and Workshop based preventive maintenance. Our client, a leader in the Commercial Waste Management sector, has asked TRS Resourcing to locate several Diesel Mechanics to join their Workshop-based team situated in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

The successful candidates will be working on a Roster of 3 Weeks of Workshop based and 1 Week of Field Service Work (Field Service Phone & Allowance will apply).

Our client is looking for trade-qualified mechanics to maintain their Civil Mobile Plant and Commercial Hook Bin Truck fleet. As a Diesel Mechanic with our client, you will be responsible for performing scheduled servicing and maintenance and diagnosing and repairing any faults that may arise.

You will also be required to complete associated paperwork promptly and accurately. To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience working on Commercial Vehicles and a strong focus on safety.

The successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
  • Scheduled Preventative Maintenance
  • Component Rebuilding
  • Experience working on Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
  • Troubleshoot and Diagnose Mechanical Faults
  • Field Service Experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
