Brake Press Operators


The workshop is based in Derrimut and is a leading Australian Manufacturer of doors, windows, grills, security doors and more. Paying $45 per hour N/T + Super & O/T on a temp to perm basis. 

The requirement is for Brake Press Operators to carry out a wide range of duties.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Duties of these positions will include:
  • Completing First Offs and Last Offs
  • Setting up tools and dies.
  • Operate brake press machine to bend, fold and cut parts required for Truck Accessories manufacturing
  • Have the ability to assemble and dis-assemble mechanical componentry
It is beneficial that the successful candidate has the following;
  • Have the ability to learn our clients' correct procedures & processes
  • Good working knowledge of OS&H
  • Experienced as a brake press operator 
  • Read and understand Engineering Drawings and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude.
