Boilermakers - New Build Dry Bulk Tankers

 TRS Resourcing is sourcing and screening for Trade Qualified Boilermakers to join our client's day shift team in constructing Dry Bulk Road Tankers. We seek individuals with expertise in Mig welding of Mild Steel, particularly those with previous experience in the Transport Trailer Equipment Industry.

However, we are also happy to consider candidates with strong Mig welding fabrication skills from other Industries. Our client is an industry leader in constructing, maintaining, and repairing Dry Bulk Tankers. With a substantial pipeline of new and repeat business, they are looking to expand their workforce.

Pay Rate: $55.00 Per Hour NT Labour Hire + Super, Overtime, and $27 Per Day Travel Allowance

 Job Requirements:

The successful candidates must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Ability to set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
  • Effective prioritization of work tasks
  • Capability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Proficient in Mig welding skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • References from at least two past employers
  • Already based in Melbourne, Victoria
  • Appropriate working rights in Australia
  • Welding/Boilermaker Trade qualification
  • Confined Space Ticket (Ideally, but TRS Resourcing can assist successful candidates in obtaining one)
