Defence Transport Equipment

TRS Resourcing seeks experienced, trade-qualified Boilermakers to join our client's day shift team. These positions involve the Fabrication of transport equipment parts and lifting equipment mainly used in the defence sector.

We seek candidates with a background in Mig welding mild steel. Knowledge of fabrication transport equipment or hook lifts is advantageous but not essential.

Our client workshop is located in the Northern Suburbs and has a substantial pipeline of new and repeat business; they are looking to expand their workforce and would consider full-time employment after 26 weeks of Placement on TRS Resourcing books.

Pay: $55.00 NT Labour Hire + Super, Overtime & $27 Per Day Travel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret workshop/engineering drawings with precision
  • Efficiently prioritize work tasks to meet project deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Possess a solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • References from two past employers showcasing relevant experience
  • Location-based in Melbourne, VIC
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Boilermaker/Fabrication Trade qualification
