Boilermaker Apprenticeship

TRS Resourcing has been tasked with searching for suitable candidates for an apprenticeship in Boilermaking/Fabricating to join our client's workforce. Our clients are looking for potential new team members for its West-Melbourne based workshop Paying $28 Per Hour NT + Super & OT. The job will require you to work with truck tankers for repair and construction during day shifts. If this sounds like something you can see yourself involved with, keep reading!

You will learn the trade over a 4 year period, duties will also include welding structural aluminium and stainless steel. TRS Resourcing only advertises genuine positions, so, if you have Australian work rights and the right attitude you’ve already got your foot in the door.

The successful candidate will go through a 4-year apprenticeship course which includes the hands-on aspect as well as schooling.  
 
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience Welding or Fabricating is highly preferred. 
  • Great attendance history and grades in school 
  • A switched-on mentality 
  • Punctual 
  • Able to work with others
  • Ability to prioritise work tasks
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude  
To be considered for these positions you must be able to provide the following:
  • Reference contact details of two past employers or school teachers 
  • Great attendance history and grades in school 
  • Based already in Melbourne VIC (preferably Northern or Western suburbs) 
  • Have the right to work in Australia
