Truck Fuel Tankers / Fuel Trailers

TRS Resourcing has been asked to source and screen two suitable trade qualified Auto Electricians that can help with new build construction/repair of Truck Fuel Tankers, Fuel Trailers and Aviation Refuelling Equipment.

Based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, our client is an industry leader in the commercial fuel pumping/ truck tanker trailer construction/maintenance & repair sector across the East Coast of Australia.  With a very healthy pipeline of new and repeat business, they now need to increase their workforce, with requirements of at least two new Auto Electricians for the next six months (after six months/26 weeks, TRS Resourcing candidates could be potentially shortlisted for a full-time position with our client)
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Building electrical boxes and mounting components
  • Reading electrical circuits
  • Fault finding electrical issues
  • Fitment of PLCs
  • Running electrical looms and terminating wiring
  • Service, repair, and maintain the electrical requirements for Fuel Tanker Fleet and associated equipment comply with all relevant Aviation standards and road transport guidelines.
  • Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
  • Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude

  • Auto Electrician Trade Qualifications
  • Own Tools (Specialist tools supplied)
